It is designed to be rounded while watching the feast of seasonal flowers arranged in accord with nature in the course of the lush pine forest.Donghun Hill Maru Golf & Hot Spring Resort, located in Yeongnam as well as Yeongnam Mountain, Upo Swamp, and Bugok Hot Spring, has been designed to harmonize with humans while preserving the beauty of Mother Nature.Upo Wetland (牛浦) is Koreas largest inland wetland located in Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, estimated to have been created about 140 million years ago.
Changnyeong-gun has a total of 2.231 million square meters of land and fish, and the total area is 7.5 km, the total area is about 700,000 pyeong, 2.5 km in width, and 1.6 km in length.It is regarded as the largest inland wetland in Korea, with over 340 plants, 62 species of algae, and 28 species of fish, including the thorn lotus, protected by the Ministry of Environment as an endangered species.
In July 1997, the Ministry of Environment was designated as a natural ecological landscape conservation area and in 1998 it was designated as an international protected wetland.
